On your marks, set, get ready... The countdown has begun! Registration is officially open for the 1st edition of the Fortaleza International Marathon , which will be held on April 12, 2026 .
The event promises to become part of the city's sporting and cultural calendar, bringing together around 10,000 athletes from across Brazil in a celebration that goes far beyond the race.
In addition to the traditional 42km marathon , runners can choose from other distances, including 5km, 10km, and 21km (half marathon) . The variety of options ensures a space for both experienced athletes and beginners who want to participate in a historic moment for Fortaleza.
More than just a race, the Fortaleza International Marathon will be a true sports festival. The organizers promise to offer:
Strategically distributed hydration points ;
Refreshing tunnels with sprinklers , ensuring comfort even under the sun of the capital of Ceará;
Medical teams along the entire route;
